Overview:

You must have been a UK, EEA, or EU resident for at least the past three years to undertake this training programme.
In addition, you must be able to commit to the full length of the programme and be able to meet the programme modules through your job role.
If you do not have a level 2 or equivalent GCSE in Maths and English, you will be able to study to gain L2 Functional Skills English & Maths (English is an EYFS qualification requirement & Maths is required for those who want to become a manager in an Early Years setting).
Off-the-job training
As part of the apprenticeship, you will complete Off-the-Job training which is dedicated to improving new skills. Off-the-Job training can include training that is delivered at the apprentice’s normal place of work but must not be delivered as part of their normal working duties.
You will undertake an online assessment that will help us to understand your learning style and needs, then we will tailor your learning experience accordingly.
This can be any time devoted to learning and improving new skills without interruption.
You will have monthly teaching sessions with your development coach which will include face to face, and online.

There is no set start date - you can enrol throughout the year and complete the course at your own pace to meet your individual needs. It should take approximately 18-24 months to complete.
Successful Early Years Lead Practitioners work directly with children, skilfully leading day-to-day practice at an industry-recognised level of competency. Degree level apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships are funded through the Government’s Apprenticeship Service. Employers can fund training through their apprenticeship levy, or for smaller businesses 95% of the cost is covered by the Government. Learners don’t contribute financially.
