There are no local transport links close by as they are based on a rural farm so own transport or a reliable lift is essential. The postcode is NN66HF

Salary: £11.00 – £11.75 per hour

Hours: Part time and Full time role available

Part time – working 27 hours per week, across 3 days Mon, Tues, Weds or Mon, Tues, Thurs between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm
Full time – working 38 hours per week, across 4 days, Mon – Thurs between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm

Candidate requirements

• Level 2 or 3 in an Early Years or Teaching Assistant/Supporting teaching in schools qualification
• A fun-loving, bubbly personality and lots of energy is a must for this fast-paced role
• At least 1 years’ Early Years’ experience.
• The position is subject to 2 written references and a clear enhanced DBS check

Duties

• Day-to-day care of children 9 months-5 years of age, helping all children reach their goals (they have 4 rooms/outdoor areas for different age groups but all key staff are based in 1 room at any one time for continuity of care)
• Supporting children with additional health needs working alongside the Senco and Support Worker
• A key person role, observing children via the communication app in a fun way for parents to see (no long checklists for development here)
• Liaising with parents via the communication app and in person
• Teaching, supporting, and being a positive role model in children’s learning across all areas of development and growth
• Supporting colleagues with their day-to-day tasks and working as a team
• General tidying/cleaning/housekeeping duties included
