What will the apprentice be doing?
- Working in a team to organise the children and make sure they’re safe
- Learning how to support and foster children’s development and early education
- Helping children to understand health and hygiene habits
- Contribute to planning activities and ideas
- Observing and recording children’s skills and their overall progress
- Attending staff meetings and training
- Meeting parents and greeting children in an upbeat and friendly way
- Making sure the environment is clean and tidy
- Motivating children and encouraging them to explore their surroundings
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Early years educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- TQUK Level 3 Early Years Educator (RQF) apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and Maths if not exempt
You will be given the space, resources and mentoring required to study and as your knowledge and understanding grows, they will provide the experience you need to gain your qualifications and become a professional in the early years.
