Montessori Diploma Overview:
This Montessori Course is perfect for anyone who holds a
Level 3 or above in Early Years and wants to work as a qualified Montessori Teacher.
This Course is a blended-learning programme combining online study, via our Online Learning Platform, with a face-to-face Apparatus Workshop.

What will I study?
Learning will be through our Online Learning Platform, which enables learners to communicate and collaborate. Study flexibly at your own pace and with your dedicated mentor who will support you through the Montessori philosophy and Montessori areas of learning.
Six units of study:
- Understanding the Montessori Method
- Practical life
- Sensorial
- Mathematics
- Language
- Cultural
There are various assignments for each module and throughout the course. Assignments within the programme vary in style:
- Online tests
- Written assignments
After completing each module, you will be given an online test and a written assignment, which will be marked and returned by your dedicated mentor.
Remaining modules cannot be unlocked until the online test and assignment have been passed.
During your study, you will participate in a 10 day Apparatus Workshop in our Training Centre. A Montessori expert will demonstrate how to present the Montessori Materials, giving you a hand-on study experience to further your knowledge.

Entry requirements?
- Aged 16 or over
- Have a licence to practice and/or a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above as listed on the DfE database e.g. CACHE Diploma, BA (Hons)
Early Years Practice, PGCE or QTS
- If English is not your first language, you should be able to demonstrate competency at level B2 of the Common European Framework (CEF) proficiency

How will I study?
The theoretical study is 100% online. The practical Apparatus Workshop is in our acclaimed Training Centre.
When can I start?
We enrol on the 1st of every calendar month. Once your payment has been received, we will send you your enrolment documents, as well as your login details.
How long will my certificate be valid for?
Once you have been awarded your certificate, it is valid for life and internationally recognised. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.

MAA graduates have the knowledge and skills needed by the Montessori community; employability and work-based learning is a key aspect of the training.
The Montessori Diploma course is a CPD Accredited qualification awarded by Montessori Apprentice Academy and approved by CPD.
Qualified practitioners are considered Montessori-qualified Teachers.
