We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. Suitable for a school leaver or someone looking for a change of career.

This role involves managing daily activities, supporting children’s development, and ensuring their wellbeing through effective communication and leadership. Previous nursery experience and early childhood education knowledge are highly valued. Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and physical growth
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure clarity and consistency
Manage daily routines including meal times, naps, playtime, and educational activities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area to uphold health and safety standards
Support children’s individual needs through personalised care plans
Assist with organising outings or transportation when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff or interns when applicable
Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or running errands
Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Compassionate nature with patience and understanding towards children’s needs
Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are desirable
